Program Themes
Key topics within the infrastructure sector
The InfraTech program is divided into six key infrastructure themes: Human Capital, Climate & Sustainability, Replacement & Renovation, Mobility & Logistics, Digitalization, and Underground Infrastructure.
Human Capital
Alongside sustainability and circularity, Human Capital is one of the biggest challenges for the coming years, as the market is in urgent need of well-qualified and young professionals.
Where do you find the right people in this era of labor shortages? And how do you retain well-trained employees?
InfraTech has long been a magnet for young talent and will once again serve as a bridge between education and employers in 2027. Various theme areas will warmly welcome young infrastructure professionals.
Climate & Sustainability (2).jpg)
For nearly 30 years, InfraTech has been the meeting place for the entire supply chain, facilitating open conversations and collaborations necessary for change in the infrastructure sector.
One of the most critical changes is sustainability. Circular, climate- and energy-neutral, and sustainable—these three core principles will dominate the coming decades. The infrastructure sector can lay the foundation for a roadmap toward new, sustainable roads—roads that require less and cleaner energy and are made from reusable materials.
InfraTech is the key platform where all ideas, knowledge, and innovations in this field come together.
Replacement & Renovation (3).jpg)
Replacement & Renovation is a crucial theme at InfraTech. Dutch infrastructure works will undergo extensive maintenance in the coming years, with Rijkswaterstaat focusing on combination contracts.
But how do you organize this efficiently? Additionally, standardization and circular construction will receive significant attention on the exhibition floor.
Mobility & Logistics (4).jpg)
The Mobility & Logistics theme will highlight topics such as electric construction transport and urban construction hubs. Other key discussions will focus on Mobility as a Service (MaaS) and ways to reward efficient construction logistics already
during the tendering phase.
Digitalization (5).jpg)
In the ever-evolving infrastructure sector, digitalization plays a key role. Innovations such as AI, data analytics, and smart city concepts are driving more efficient, sustainable, and intelligent infrastructure management.
InfraTech serves as a central platform where experts share innovations and develop strategies for the future, with a strong focus on safety, ethics, and inclusivity in digital infrastructure.
Underground Infrastructure
Underground infrastructure, which supports essential services such as energy, telecom, and water management, faces increasing growth and challenges, particularly due to rising employment demands and capacity issues.
This network is fundamental to daily life and the economy and is becoming even more critical as urban space becomes increasingly limited due to energy transition and urban densification.
InfraTech plays a crucial role in addressing these challenges by fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing among stakeholders, aiming for innovative and sustainable underground infrastructure development.
